During 2007 People tree have been supporting Buckinghamshire County Council in delivering workshops around their new appraisal system. The short (hour and a half sessions) were aimed at supporting the newly introduced competencies and paperwork as short, key support and explanation sessions.
During 2006/7 People Tree has been approached by a number of different organisations regarding internal team conflict. Our independent position has allowed us to investigate, mediate and offer conflict management programmes for improved team cohesion and understanding in each case.
During 2005 People Tree supported Breakthrough Breast Cancer by presenting at their Birmingham Conference and in London where we supported their Advocate training programme. We are pleased to offer pro bono work to such an active and worthwhile charity who’s focus is the complete eradication of this disease.
Since September 2005 we have been working with Northamptonshire NHS Trust, delivering their new KSF Appraisal and PDR process rollout courses. We are delivering courses for both colleagues/reviewees and managers/reviewers.
Since 2003 we have been working alongside Northamptonshire County Council delivering a range of courses including Assertiveness, Customer Care, Effective Presenting and Facilitation Skills. In 2004 we designed and delivered a course entitled Giving Feedback, which supported their new appraisal system rollout. We continue to work alongside NCC delivering generic courses such as Assertiveness, Customer Care and Effective Presenting as well as bespoke courses designed and delivered to meet the unique departmental needs of IT, Governance and Scrutiny, Sustainable Transport Integration, Finance and Special Educational Needs.
In 2006/7 People Tree designed and delivered a management development programme entitled Leadersip in Action. This was a joint initiative between Northampton Borough Council & Northamptonshire County Council and the programme was delivered to senior level managers from both organisations at shared sessions.
People Tree Training have been working alongside Dacorum Borough Council since 2004. We deliver Assertiveness, Customer Care and Effective Presenting courses and created a bespoke workshop for the entire Housing Team entitled ‘Improving Service Delivery- Maintaining Positive Outcomes’. This workshop was designed to align the entire Housing Team with the new organisational values at Dacorum and to support aims for future KPI and BVPI measurements. We are currently delivering a bespoke range of teambuilding programmes for Communities, Customers and Housing.
"I
have just finished the two-day training with Sally Foan on the
above. I wanted to write to let you know what an excellent course
it was. I have been on an Assertiveness Training course some
years ago with NCC but this was not as effective, informative
and uplifting as Sally's. I found Sally to be an excellent teacher
with a vast amount of knowledge who was very approachable. I
have benefited so much from the day. The area of self-esteem
was really helpful. I have today used some of the technique taught
and the outcome has been extremely positive. I cannot stress
how important I feel this course is to people. I shall be recommending
this to my colleagues and managers for more effective working
and personal relationships. Thanks."

"This
was an excellent and enjoyable course which I thoroughly recommend.
I thought the course tutor Sally Foan was excellent; the best
instructor of any course I’ve attended. Effective Presenting
in front of an audience can be scary but we were made to feel
very comfortable and I believe I have gained much knowledge and
tips thanks to Sally’s help. Thank You."

feel a lot more confident, ready to deputise and far more able
in my role."

"Trainer was particularly good at matching the course to the diverse needs of the individuals present from novices to seasoned presenters. Most inspiring and professional, beautifully tailored and delivered.
Thank you!"

"People Tree Training has delivered a number of courses for us over a number of months, all to an extremely high standard. Delegate feedback has been highly complimentary, with course objectives being fully met as well."
